La dernière Évaluation du marché de l’habitation publiée par la SCHL indique notamment que les grands centres de l’Ontario et de la Colombie-Britannique, comme Toronto, Hamilton, Vancouver et Victoria, demeurent très vulnérables en raison de la surévaluation et de l’accélération des prix. Des signes modérés de surchauffe ont même été détectés à Vancouver, même si la croissance des prix a considérablement ralenti au cours des deux derniers trimestres.

"The condominium segment is booming. Thanks to strong sales and a sharp decrease in listings, the number of months of inventory has dropped significantly over the past year, falling from 10.2 months to 7 months," said Nathalie Bégin, President of the GMREB Board of Directors. "This segment has moved from a buyer's market to a seller's market in just one year," she added.
